Snow

We got our first good snow fall yesterday. We got 8 inches here.  I really like to see the snow coming down, it is so beautiful.  I do enjoy a good snowfall with the fire going in the fireplace and a pot of soup beans and cornbread. Just home!!!

This is after it warmed up some this morning..  It was 8 below when I looked out on the porch.

I do worry about the goats in this weather.  I close them up in the barn at night, but there is not any heat.  I do have a small barn so they snuggle together.  Jeff put some wood on the inside walls too.  I think that helps a lot. I wait until the sun is up to let them out.  They were fine this morning, just wanted some grain, hay and warm water.
